Maz Check-In is an employee self-service app for workforce attendance and related HR requests. Access requires an account provided by your employer.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and profile information
- Login email and authentication credentials
- Employee profile details provided by your employer or entered in the App
- Authentication tokens stored on your device to keep you signed in
2.2 Attendance and punch data
- Check-in and check-out times
- Attendance status and history
- Office / work location assignments related to attendance rules
- Permission and attendance regularization requests you submit
2.3 Camera / photos
When you check in or check out, the App may capture a photo using your device camera for attendance verification. Photos are sent to your employer’s systems as part of the punch record.
2.4 Location data
When you check in or check out, the App may collect precise GPS location (and approximate location where applicable) to verify where the punch occurred. Location is used for attendance authenticity, not for advertising.
2.5 Device and technical data
- App version and basic technical information needed to operate the App
- Network requests required to sync attendance and HR data
2.6 What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers
- We do not use attendance photos or GPS for marketing
- Continuous background location tracking is not the purpose of this App; location is used in connection with punch / attendance actions
3. How we use information
- Authenticate employees and maintain secure sessions
- Record and verify attendance (including photo and GPS where required)
- Display attendance history and related status
- Process employee requests (permission / regularization)
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App
- Comply with employer policies and applicable law
4. Employment context
Maz Check-In is used in an employment / workforce context. Your employer generally determines how attendance data is used for HR purposes. Maz Software Solutions Private Limited provides the App/platform used to collect and transmit that data as configured for your organization.
5. How we share information
- Your employer / authorized HR administrators — to manage attendance, requests, and workforce records
- Service providers that host or operate infrastructure for the App, under contractual obligations to protect data
- Authorities when required by law or valid legal process
We do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
Attendance photos, GPS coordinates, login identifiers, and related records are retained according to your employer’s retention policies and/or Maz Software Solutions Private Limited platform settings and legal requirements. Device session tokens remain until you sign out or the token expires / is cleared.
7. Data security
- Transmission over HTTPS between the App and servers
- Access controls for employer administrators
- Device storage of session tokens using platform secure preferences where available
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Some attendance records may need to be retained by your employer for legal, payroll, or compliance reasons. You can deny camera or location permission on your device; some punch features may not work without those permissions.
9. Children’s privacy
Maz Check-In is intended for employees / workforce users, typically 18 years of age or older. It is not directed to children.
10. International transfers
If you or your employer operate in multiple countries, information may be processed on servers in other regions. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be applied.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
